Transportation

The Village is located near the intersection of two interstate highways. Interstate 91 runs along the Vermont-New Hampshire border from Canada to the southern tip of the state and through Massachusetts and Connecticut to New Haven, where drivers can pick up I-95 to New York City. Interstate 89 winds its way from Montreal to southern New Hampshire via Burlington, VT, where I-93 takes over for the quick trip to Boston.

  • An Amtrak station in downtown White River Junction offers direct service to New York City and Washington, DC via Springfield, MA and New Haven, CT, as well as Montreal.

  • Our driver offers pick-up and drop-off to and from the nearby Lebanon Municipal Airport, which offers service to Boston and New York.

  • The Greyhound terminal just up the hill will take you just about anywhere, with drop-off and pick-up by our driver.

  • Advance Transit, with a stop one block from The Village, provides free and convenient bus transportation in the area, including routes to Hanover (shopping and Dartmouth College) and West Lebanon (major shopping centers). Several car rental agencies are nearby, and free public parking is available in a lot adjacent to the residence.

  • The Village provides scheduled transportation to doctors’ appointments and group recreational trips at no charge. The Village’s van and driver are also available to you for any personal or recreational activities within 30 miles of The Village. The van seats 10 passengers, is handicapped accessible, and has a wheelchair lift.

  • Dartmouth Coach provides service to South Station in the heart of downtown Boston and all terminals at Logan Airport and NYC.  This is direct luxury coach transport directly from Dartmouth College (approx 7 miles away) and makes several trips to/from Boston, Logan airport and NYC per day.
