Hope Hersey, Director of Life Enrichment

Hope Hersey

Director of Life Enrichment
I grew up in Woodstock, Vermont, helping my family care for my nana and great aunt who lived with us. In middle school, I knew health care was what I wanted to do. I've worked in long-term care communities and provided in-home care for the last 20 years. I moved to New Hampshire in 2010 to be closer to my father struggling with health issues, and in 2018 passed away. I was fortunate enough to be his caregiver. My husband, Mike, my son, Landin, and I decided to sell our home in New Hampshire and move back to Vermont, and we love being back home. I'm so happy to be here at The Village and excited to work with our amazing residents and staff.

cassie kolok

Cassie Kolok

Business Office Manager
Cassie has been in the Long-term Care field for most of her professional career. She started as a Nursing Assistant, fresh out of Highschool and developed a passion for working with the Geriatric population. A few years into her career, rather than advancing her Nursing degree, she pursued working in the Admissions Department. Cassie has exceled as the Admissions Director at a couple different Nursing facilities over the years. She took a turn in her career path while remaining in the Long-Term Care setting and pursued being the Business Office Manager, which she found was something she truly enjoyed doing. During her tenure as the Office Manager, she grew to understand many factors in the position. She particularly found her niche specializing in the ins and outs of the NH & VT Medicaid application and redetermination processes. She has steered many difficult cases to the approval status which she found highly rewarding. Aside from her professional accomplishments, Cassie’s greatest pride is being a mother to her 3 children Ethan, Madylyn & Cayden. She enjoys raising her family in Vermont, loving Vermont’s beauty meanwhile appreciating what the Upper Valley region has to offer.
