Sandra Conrad

Executive Director
Sandy brings 20 years of experience in Elder Care in Vermont to The Village at White River Junction. A graduate of the University of Missouri with a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Vermont, she has worked as a Case Manager for the Central Vermont Council on the Aging and was the Executive Director of the Southwestern Vermont Council on the Aging. She also served as the Director of Care Management at Gifford Medical Center in Randolph, Vermont, which included their nursing home. She looks forward to continuing her administrative career in the field she loves while having an opportunity to work one-on-one with the residents of The Village. She is particularly excited about the “community within a community” aspect of The Village, where so many opportunities are available within a short walk.

Suzanne Shea

Director of Health Services
Suzanne brings 31 years of Nursing experience with specialties in Rehabilitation, Chronic Disease and Geriatrics to The Village at White River Junction. A graduate of D’Youville College in Buffalo, New York, she holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. She has worked in multiple positions, including nurse on a medical unit, hospital and community case manager and manager of a skilled nursing unit. Most recently, Suzanne served as a manager for the Home Telehealth Program at the Veteran’s Health Administration Hospital assisting Veterans in self-management of chronic disease. She looks forward to a new journey as Director of Health Services, providing holistic care to residents. She is excited about the various amenities that the residents have to choose from at The Village as well as all the services The Village at White River Junction has to offer.

Nikki Fortier

Director of Life Enrichment
Nikki brings over 20 years of Upper Valley community-building to The Village, where she develops and leads exciting lifestyle programming. Her past work includes event management for the Quechee Balloon Festival, Polar Express, and the Chamber of Commerce. In addition, she has provided leadership and support for a gym for special-needs children, the Hartford High School Alumni Association, and the Upper Valley Music Center. She looks forward to combining her broad community relationships with her deep understanding of multigenerational engagement to customize activities to the interest of Village residents. Whether it’s a classical music concert, a trip to the theater, a demonstration cooking class, or time with a master gardener, Nikki will keep Village residents active and growing.

Nate Wright

Director of Culinary Services
Chef Nate Wright is a native of Pennsylvania, where he began his culinary career at the tender age of 15. After graduating from the International Culinary Academy of Pittsburgh in 1997, he made his way to Vermont. He honed his skills in cooking, menu preparation, and management locally at Simon Pearce Restaurant, the Courtyard by Marriott, Bentley’s in Woodstock, Lui Lui, and Green Mountain at Fox Run, among others. He brings years of skill and creativity, as well as a passion for food, to this new venture. Drawing inspiration from his love for the classic “family recipe” passed down through generations, with a commitment to utilizing the bounty of locally farmed and raised foods, he is looking forward to sharing what he knows and learning more from the residents of The Village.

Geoff Tuller

Director of Plant Operations
Geoff has more than 12 years of experience in Building, Landscape and Grounds Maintenance, including leadership roles as Maintenance Manager for Mountain Valley Treatment Center and Director of Maintenance for a local senior living community. His diverse skills and experience, coupled with proven supervisory expertise, have uniquely prepared Geoff for the position of Director of Plant Operations for The Village at White River Junction. Heis excited to be working with a team to manage day-to-day interior and exterior building and grounds maintenance throughout the community—including the beautifully landscaped gardens on four different floors.

Dave Dumais

Business Operations Manager
David is a business professional with a diverse background in Accounting, Operations and Project Management, including recent experience as an Operations Assistant and Accounting Clerk. A graduate of Southern New Hampshire University in Hookset, New Hampshire, he holds a Bachelor of Science in Operations and Project Management. David is currently enrolled in the Masters of Business Administration program at Southern New Hampshire University with a projected completion in July 2019. As Business Operations Manager, he is eager to help The Village team focus on continuous improvement, maximizing services and operations to ensure resident satisfaction.
