No one expects to become unable to manage their own affairs, but it can happen. Close to 15% of Americans over the ago of 70 suffer from dementia, and nearly 40% of adults over the age of 65 have some sort of disability. There are steps you can take to plan and protect your assets from exposure to long-term care expenses. Planning for these issues isn’t something people often discuss, but it is critical.
Led by Renee Harvey of Caldwell Law, this presentation and workshop will provide an overview of incapacity and disability planning, with a specific focus on the dementia journey. Light refreshments and appetizers will be served.
This is the second in a series of bi-monthly Caldwell Law presentations to be held at The Village.
This event is free and open to the public.
